Saudi Arabia Women Defy Driving Laws - Catie

Women in Saudi Arabia defied Saudi Arabia’s laws about women’s rights by driving cars last Saturday, October 26th. Only five out of at least twenty-five women who got behind the steering wheel were caught by officials. They were glad that they accomplished the purpose of their campaign.


We have compared and contrasted the governments of Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Iran. We discussed citizens’ rights in each country, and this topic actually came up in one of our conversations.
