When our troops left Iraq, there was a big amount of problems in Iraq. A suicide truck bomber exploded killing innocent school children. The al qaeda group has been planning attacks to blow up parts of Iraq. This has affected people as simple as going to a baseball game.

This has to do with our social studies standards because we learned about violence in Iraq. Many people were killed in swa as we learned. Wars and other conflicts affect the countries in swa. Violence still continues in swa.
